Who is Dr. Wang?
Ann Y. Wang is one of the greatest herbal doctors of our time to have emigrated from China. She is now recognized as one of the leading herbalists and acupuncturists in this country.
She obtained her O.M.D from the famous Shandong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Jinan, and later became a teaching physician at the college’s training hospital (1980 - 1983). She was later appointed chief Medical Administrator of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, at the Dept. of Public Health in Beijing (1983 - 1987). She also served as Deputy Director of the National Association for Rehabilitation of Chronic Illnesses of China.
Dr. Wang has been living in the U.S. since 1987, and is a State of New York Licensed Acupuncturist and a NCAOM Certified Herbalist and Acupuncturist. She travels frequently to China, and remains in constant touch with the herbal community in her native country.
Along with her husband, Dr. Chao Zhang, she founded Blue Light, Inc. to supply members of her profession with a full line of over 300 extract formulas under the trademark name, Treasure of the East™.
